Nurture Your Leaders

Six modules for building the leadership bench that survives your absence.

Overview

An organization that cannot function when its leader is absent has not built an organization — it has built a dependency. Nurture Your Leaders is a six-module development system that builds the internal leadership bench required for organizational resilience. The six modules are: Self-Awareness, Communication Mastery, Decision Architecture, Conflict Navigation, Culture Building, and Succession Planning.

Deployment Steps

  1. 01

    Identify two to three people in your organization who could, in theory, run your department.

  2. 02

    Assess each against the six module competencies — be honest about gaps.

  3. 03

    Build a 12-month individual development plan for each, covering at least three of the six modules.

  4. 04

    Give each developing leader a real responsibility — not a committee, an outcome they own.

  5. 05

    Take a one-week vacation and observe what breaks. That is your development curriculum.
